Movie Industry especially Bollywood is an industry which never sleeps. Every month, a lot of movies are released. Some of them are good and some not so good but it never fails to entertain us.
So, in this post we’re gonna take a look back at the best Bollywood movies from the month of February, 2019.
1. Gully Boy
Storyline
Gully Boy” is a film about a 22-year-old boy “Murad” from a ghetto in Mumbai, India. The son of a driver, his parents worked hard to get him educated so that he could have a white collar job.
Meanwhile, Murad realizes his calling to be a rapper. Authentic Hip Hop in India is a recent phenomenon and like anywhere else in the world, is rising from the streets. Art is a distant dream for the colonized poor of India and this story is about Murad’s journey from realizing his love for rap and chasing his dream to inadvertently transcending his class.
The film showcases street rap from the crevices of Mumbai’s by lanes. The poetry is conscious of the city’s socio-economic fabric and highlights the challenges faced by the disenfranchised youth in the minority population.
The Movie got IMDB Rating of 8.5/10 and has grossed Rs. 224.23 crore (US$31 million)
2. Total Dhamaal
Storyline
Total Dhamaal is the third instalment in the Dhamaal franchise. A hidden booty of 50 crore leads to a mad chase amongst a bunch of greedy and eccentric characters. In them, are a bickering couple on the verge of a divorce, greedy siblings, local goons, a police commissioner and the mastermind of the loot. Will they finally discover the hidden treasure?
The Movie got an IMDb Rating of 5.5/10 which is pretty low but has done great in the box office collection grossing Rs. 181.96 crore (US$25 million) Worldwide.

3. Ek Ladki Ko Dekha Toh Aisa Laga
Storyline
Some love stories are not simple, Sweety’s is one such story. She has to contend with her over-enthusiastic family that wants to get her married, a young writer who is completely smitten by her, a secret that she harbours close to her heart and ultimately the truth that her true love might not find acceptance in her family and society. Resolving these issues proves hilarious, touching and life changing.
The movie got an IMDb rating of 5.8/10 and has grossed Rs.43.95 crore (US$6.1 million) so far Worldwide.
